like no other. El Portal, a 600,000 square foot retail center opening in the fall of 2009 in Los Angeles, is a media
Mecca. From touch screen way finding directories to an interactive LED board that is 100 feet wide and 35 feet tall this center
will demonstrate the power of media as a way to build a destination entertainment shopping center. The center will offer
a completely unique, high tech, state-of the-art lifestyle shopping experience by integrating media with shopping. As a result,
El Portal will be the first “High Tech Lifestyle” shopping destination in the United States! El
Portal will have over 4,500 square feet of LED’s boards installed in and around the common area of the center along
with a broadcast studio and a live events stage. RMC has been an integral part of the center’s design, programming and
media sales efforts. RMC is developing the content and programming strategy as well as the special events calendar. RMC is
also guiding the design and development of the consumer experience by introducing an RFID based loyalty program. El Portal represents the future of retail shopping centers and RMC is proud
